Swimming Recount

Yay Guess what? we had instructors from Auckland sport firstly Room 10 children had to get in the pool two by two as they tested us on our swimming skills.

Then we got into our groups there were groups one two and three the pool was as cold as 30 fridges.  the Instructors names were Josh,Jenny and  Tilini ,we were learning about floating, freestyles and other things that we had to learn how to swim without breathing and with our head up.

Later on as is was going to the end we finish off our swimming we gave n our instructor high fives then we jumped out I felt like sleeping.  when I got out my legs were numb.

About Me

Hello my name is Douglas and I am a year 7 student at Glenbrae School. My favourite subject at school is Maths because we build up our knowledge. The best thing about having my own Netbook is that it is much better than writing with pencil and paper.

My Limerick about Dover

L.I: To write a limerick

There once was a boy from Dover

who often tripped and fell over

he once hit his head
on the edge of his bed
that poor boy from Dover
